#1:A USC Rose Garden

The 30 things begin! Our first stop is the Exposition Park Rose Garden, near USC's campus. This is part 1 of a 3 part "study" of campus gardens.

Lisey and I drove up to USC and because we are cheap wanted exercise, we used street parking a few blocks away and walked. It was a gorgeous day, though a little warm at 85*. After getting lost a few times, I finally took refuge in the air conditioned Museum of Natural History, and a nice volunteer told me where to go.

We spent about two hours walking around the roses (my favorite scent!!), and Lisey took some videos, which will hopefully be posted soon. The flowers were endlessly amazing, and I even got a little tan :-)

Hidden Mickey Rose!

My artistic shot.
